Here is a Hungarian AMD-65 parts kit.  It was developed for tankers to have a shorter barrel.  It was also meant to use a shorter 20 round magazine.

As I'm sure you are aware, you will need 6 US compliance parts to legally build this into a rifle.  You will also need a barrel extension to bring the barrel to the legal length of 16".  I suggest one of the Tapco extensions.  They look very authentic even though 2 inches longer than the included muzzle brake.  To round out the US parts count, I suggest a US made receiver, and US made fire control group (3 parts in the FCG) and a US made gas piston.

The Pictures below are of a kit that had a US piston installed. The kit pictured is SOLD!

All AMD-65 kits sold as of 3-20-2007.

1. - SOLD

Non-matching kit.

Bolt and carrier match, but trunnion does not.

The barrel has been pressed from the trunnion already.

Overall external condition is very good.  It has a nice used, but not abused look.  It could be refinished to look new.

Bore is Excellent.

It comes with the standard plastic grips, but included are two good to VG wood grips.

The longer screws for the wood grips are NOT included.  The included screws are for the plastic grips.

You would need the longer 4 1/8 inch screws to mount the wood grips.

Also included are a cleaning kit, oil bottle, wrench, and blank firing adapter.

No U.S. parts.

SOLD.

2. SOLD

Matching kit!

I also verified headspace to be correct with Clymer gauges.

The external condition is very good to near new.  This would not need to be refinished.

Bore is Excellent.

This is a wood grip kit.  No plastic grips.

Two U.S. Parts included.  Tapco AMD-65 length gas piston and Tapco extended muzzle brake.  Just like the ones in the pictures below.

Of course neither of these is mounted to the kit yet.  You will have to do that.  Remember to permanently attach that muzzle brake to be legal!

The bottom pictures are of the AMD-65 I built for my own personal use.  It has the Tapco extended brake permanently attached.
